About the Group

The 6th EK Scout Group consists of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers

The 6th East Kilbride Scout Group has been serving the local community since 1961. We are proud to be a part of the worldwide Scout movement, which is dedicated to empowering young people to develop skills for life and become responsible citizens.

Our group consists of young people aged between 6 and 18, and we offer a range of activities and opportunities for them to learn, grow, and have fun. Our programme is based around the Scout method, which combines activities that promote personal development, adventure, and community service.

We have a team of dedicated and qualified adult volunteers who work tirelessly to deliver an exciting and engaging programme for our young people. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, bringing with them a wealth of skills and experiences that provide valuable learning opportunities for our members.

We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all our members, regardless of their backgrounds, abilities, or beliefs. Our group operates within the framework of the Scout Association’s policies, procedures, and code of conduct, and we strive to maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.

We believe that Scouting makes a positive difference to the lives of young people, and we are proud to be a part of this global movement. If you are interested in joining the 6th East Kilbride Scout Group, whether as a young person or a volunteer, please get in touch. We would be delighted to welcome you into our community!
