Group Policies

Welcome to the 6th EK Scout Group Policies page! Here you will find important information and guidelines to ensure that our scout group runs smoothly and safely. It is important that all members and parents are familiar with these policies.

  1. Attendance Policy Scouting is a commitment and requires regular attendance to meetings, events, and camps. If a member is unable to attend a meeting, it is important that a leader be notified in advance or OSM updated . Failure to attend regular meetings and activities may result in dismissal from the group.
  2. Behavioural Policy Members are expected to respect and obey all rules and regulations set forth by the Scout group and the Scout Law. Bullying or disrespectful behaviour towards fellow members or Leaders will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or dismissal from the group.
  3. Uniform Policy Members must wear their complete uniform to all meetings, events, and camps unless told not to do so. The uniform serves as a symbol of membership and shows pride in being a member of the Scout organisation. Wearing the uniform correctly is important as it shows respect and emphasises the importance of being part of a team.
  4. Code of Conduct Policy Membersmust follow the Scout Law and Code of Conduct at all times. This includes respecting others, taking responsibility for one’s actions, and showing integrity while representing the Scout Group.

These policies aim to ensure the safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for all members of the 6th EK Scout Group. We ask that all members and parents respect and follow these policies. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Scout group leadership team.
